Reiki Healing

What is Reiki?​

Reiki is an effective yet gentle healing method designed to alleviate stress, pain, and anxiety. It addresses both physical and emotional tensions, promoting deep relaxation and overall well-being. Developed by Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 1900s, Usui Reiki is a holistic energy healing method that channels universal life energy, or "ki," to restore balance and harmony within the body.

 

How a Reiki Session Works​

I offer Reiki sessions both online (distance healing) and in-person to fit your preferences. During a session, you will lie fully clothed on a comfortable treatment table. I will either gently place my hands on your body or hold them just above, depending on what best suits your needs. Each session lasts about 60 minutes and begins with a brief overview of Reiki and a discussion of your goals. As the energy flows, you might experience sensations such as warmth, coolness, or tingling, which can help release blockages and promote a sense of calm.

 

How You Might Feel​

Following a Reiki session, many clients experience a deep sense of relaxation and mental clarity. The benefits often continue beyond the session, contributing to long-term emotional and physical well-being.

Reiki Education​

I am also pleased to offer comprehensive Reiki training, including:​

  • Reiki I: The foundation of Reiki, focusing on self-healing and basic techniques.

  • Reiki II: Advanced techniques and the use of symbols to enhance healing.

  • Reiki ART (Advanced Reiki Training): Deepening your practice with advanced methods.

  • Reiki Master: Mastery level, including teaching others and advanced healing techniques.

These training programs will provide you with the knowledge and skills to practice and share Reiki effectively.​

Using Reiki in Daily Life​

Incorporating Reiki into your daily routine can greatly enhance your overall well-being. I use Reiki regularly and find it to be a powerful tool for managing stress, boosting energy, and maintaining balance. Additionally, Reiki can be used to shield yourself from negative energies, creating a protective barrier of positive energy around you. Simple practices, such as self-Reiki and mindfulness, can help you experience these benefits every day.
